Sony files patent for “degradable video game demos”
Sony wants to make sure that you’ll get more than just the demo of their games, but that you’ll be compelled to purchase the full version. A patent’s been found, duly filed by Sony, and this one is for the so-called “degradable video game demos”.
According to this patent, the software will allow Sony to remove parts of the game the longer you play. So you download a game, a racing game, and after two hours you have this tricked out car with 4 nitro and spinners. And after 4 hours you only have a car with 2 nitro and spinners, and after 6 hours you have a crappy broken down piece of junk.

Scanff has released his new HomeBrew game, Bash the castle. Bash The Castle is a fun little arcade game where you “bash” the castles by throwing rocks at them. This game uses Box2D physics engine and SDL for graphics and audio.
Apple iPad to Go on Sale Friday March 26th?
Apple announced that the iPad would go on sale at the end of March, however, we’ve yet to hear official details about the actual sale date and procedure.
There’s whispers in the air that Apple is planning on launching the iPad at retail stores on Friday, March 26th at 6 p.m. in similar fashion to the original iPhone launch.

Majin: The Fallen Realm being localized for North America
Namco Bandai has announced that Game Republic’s Majin: The Fallen Realm will also be released in North America, but, with a slight name change.
Now kwown as Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom, the Ps3 and Xbox 360 game will be localized for release by the original publisher, Namco Bandai. However no specific launch date has been set.

wplaat Has updated his HomeBrew game, RedSquare. The goal of this game is just to simply move the red square around without hitting any of the blue ones. The latest version of the homebrew has added some new features, fixed some bugs and includes various other improvements.
